I'm having some issues with the Telerik update notification process:

1.  It seems random, sometimes I see the yellow/green window appear telling me a new version is available, sometimes I don't.
2.  When I see the window, it often disappears quickly before I can select it.
3.  The message I do see, says a new version is available but it's the same version as I currently have installed?
4.  I can't find any way to get this window back -- there is no "Check for Updates now" option?

Anyone have solutions to this?

Thanks, Rob.

Hi Rob,

About notifications - we are trying to be as unobtrusive as possible. Some of them are displayed daily, others weekly.

About prompting you about a version you already have - some notifications are not related to downloading new versions, but keeping your projects up-to-date with the latest assemblies already installed on your system.

You can check for updates through most of our Visual Studio extensions' wizards (more info). You just need to click the Download button.

All the best,
