Thanks for the nicely designed Windows 8 task app. I sync the Task app at home with my work desktop's Outlook through Exchange.
One issue that we are experiencing is that when we use the Task app to edit the "Notes" field of a task that was originally created in Outlook, after a sync it removes all of the carriage returns from the Notes field so that the once nicely spaced text is all squished together on a single line. Thereafter, it then appears as a single line both in the Task app and in Outlook.
Is there a fix to this?

Thank you for reporting that!
That is a known issue, but it is a bit tricky to be fixed.
It is included into our list of issues to be fixed, but we could not confirm for now that it will be fixed for the next release because there are some other issues with higher priority.
