Hi,

I need to build a new reporting dashboard for my company - barvohealth and we are planing to use the Silverlight charts control for it. the management team really likes the design and lay out of teh web page as shown @ http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Chart/SortFilter. I have been playing with the demo code however i haven't been able to replicate the same as i am fairly new to Silverlight development

What is need is
1. Collapsible Left panel - tree view of the different report types
2. Collapsible right panel - to load the filter criteria for the reports(chart control). (Will be same for all the different reports)
3. Central body - to load the reports.

Rest all features like - Breadcrumb, ball control, view code, theme dropdown is not required.

If any one can help me create the frame work, I will be really thankful.

Thanks and Regards

Hello Rajat,

To get you started you can check the actual implementation of the Telerik examples application from your local installation -- the source code should be under [local-installation-path]/Demos/QuickStart folder.

Also you may find useful advice on general Silverlight questions and paradigms in the official Silverlight forums here: http://forums.silverlight.net/forums/.

Greetings,
Bart.

Hello Bart,

I am aware of the demo code's location and have already looked at it. Th issue here is that as Telerik had to provide demo code for all of their SL contraols they created a massinve frame work. My reporting Dashboard dose not require all the bells and wishtles and As I am new to SL I am having difficulty in stiping down the demo code to to only the parts that I need.

Regards
Rajat
