Hi,

now Telerik Platform is being retired (and throw away years of development)
are you planing to release (at least some parts) of the platform as open source / or source as part of DevCraft?

Like AppBuilder Windows Clients and/or the Server Scripts for Remote iOS/Android builds and iTunes Upload?
It was the Cordova dedication development/debugging etc., what made Telerik Platform the best of it's kind.

Kind regards,

Otto

Hello Otto,

We understand that the discontinuation of Telerik Platform has a big impact on your development process and this is why we are offering a way to migrate to a different framework (Cordova CLI, PhoneGap) in the hopes of making the transition as easy as possible.

Unfortunately, we are not planning to open-source parts of Telerik Platform as their back-end infrastructure and code is still being used in our NativeScript tooling. And without the cloud infrastructure, the AppBuilder Windows client is unusable and even if it is open-sourced it would not be of any help.

I hope this information is of any help. Please, let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Regards,
Garo

Visit the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace and get the custom Cordova plugin you need, already tweaked to work seamlessly with AppBuilder.

hi,

Lives of nearly a billion developers depend upon app builder... The major features of appbuilder (windows client) as under made telerik a unique platform for app development

1) Direct upload of the build to itunes for publishing
2) Plugins for each and every requirement just a click away (with extremely easy usage)
3) Awesome cross platform simulator
4) Easiest way to install IOS certificates and provisioning...

and many more....

I don't think there are any other substitutes available online? if yes...then please can you let me know?

However...please do not retire...we shall be out of app business if you do lol...

Regards
