I just DL'd and installed 2012 Q1 OpenAccess and started following the videos. But, I'm lost. The menu items shown in the videos don't match what I have in my VS2010 installation. I've attached a screenshot.

The videos mention, "Enable Project to Use ORM"

I don't have that. I'm assuming the newest version has an updated interface, but I'm lost!

Is there a reference that talks a newbie through the process with the current menu structure?

Hi Keith,

Please accept our apologies for the misleading video you have found on Telerik TV. You have probably seen one that should be marked with "OpenAccess Classic" and relates to an older interface the product used to have. We will make sure such videos are put in a group that is clearly describing that they are not up to date with the latest releases.

I would recommend you to see the following to get started:
1) The Model First videos if you will define the model and you will apply it on a database to create new tables based on your classes
2) The Database First videos, if you already have a database or you are planning to create one before defining your domain model.
3) You can also take a look at the PDF guide that comes with the installation - you can find a link to it in the start menu folder of OpenAccess, it is called Getting Started with Telerik OpenAccess ORM.

Do not hesitate to let us know if you need any assistance.

Kind regards,
Ivailo
