I would like to know, because Telerik contains so many breaking changes from version to version you will never be able to stick to a particular version.

Now we have a situation where we cannot develop for one set of installs. Every time a new team member comes on board we have to spend 3 months fixing all the breaking changes because the the entire team had to upgrade their version.

In my life I have never seen a worse product.

Go ahead, delete this post like the others.

You guys are a disgrace to the development community.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear about your frustration while using our products.

We are constantly working on improving our controls. Unfortunately the bug fixes and the new features often require changes in the public API. These changes come after clients' requests for new features and opportunities to make our products better and more stable.

We try to keep these changes to the possible minimum but in these rare cases we provide obsolete properties and methods, and we keep them for one release cycle (around four months). Unfortunately if you use obsolete properties, there will be no warnings and you will get errors when we delete the properties. This is why we are doing our best to provide detailed release history where all changes are listed, blog posts which give more explanations how the new features should be used, Latest Internal Build each Friday to provide an early preview of what is coming with the next SP or official release. Furthermore we provide full assistance to all clients with custom scenarios and we dedicate a special attention for each case.

I checked your support history and I was not able to see any specific problems that you have reported. I also was not able to find any problems reported from some of your coworkers. Maybe you are using different accounts. If so, please let me know so we can look into these issues and provide you with further assistance.

Kind regards,
Hristo
