Hi Dean,

Did you get a notification through Visual Studio (The Visual Studio Extensions automatically check for newer version availability)?
The VSExtensions check for the Developer license version of the product, which provides service pack updates. These are not available in the OpenSource license though.

We are working on improving the Visual Studio Extensions so that the update checks can be adjusted for either the Developer license or the OpenSource one.
