Hello,
Thank you for the interest in TeamPulse. The version 2012 R1 was released few days ago and xView is the main functionality promoted as part of this release:

Hello!
And what else does 2012 R1 have? It would be great to know if it's worth updating, because as I have understood the xView is an extra functionality that needs to be purchased separately, so I don't know if the TeamPulse really has something new.
Also, how do we update our TeamPulse version to the new one?

Hello John,
Although Cross Project View was our main goal for this release, we have also provided few improvements into TeamPulse itself. You can find them listed below:
- Task reordering;
- Allowing user domain editing in User&License Management;
- Syncing TeamPulse rich description with TFS rich text/html field. Also improving the way conflicts are handled;
- Allowing user activation/deactivation in User&License Management (including restore of already deleted users);
- Support links different than http and https for TeamPulse items;
And to answer your second question - you have to upgrade in order to apply our latest version. It is recommended to firstly backup your DB. If the process of how to access our latest version is not clear enough, please reply for more information.
Thank you again for your interest in TeamPulse and if you have any other questions, feel free to contact us at any time.
