Do you all have any plans to support just the .doc format of MS Word?

Hello Kevin,

The doc format is an old, binary and proprietary to Microsoft format with no open specification. While it's quite widely used, supporting it is far from trivial or easy (in contrast, .docx is an XML-based standardized open format). We are considering implementing doc support, but I can't give any any specific details.

Kind regards,

While I have you, is there a way to export directly to PDF?

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately, as of now there is no support for PDF. However, we are actively working on implementing exporting to PDF and this is planned to be available in Q3.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

All the best,
