Sublime, WebStorm or Visual Studio Plugins

Hi,

I am starting a mobile app and looking for products that could help me.

I want to know which subscriptions give the right to develop using Sublime, Visual Studio or WebStorm.

I am confused about the pricing and features of each type of subscription.

The Professional subscription gives the right to deploy directly to Apple Store and Google Play, but I could not find any reference for IDE's.

Can you help me.

Hi Marcus,

All Telerik Platform subscription levels allow you to use any of the following development tools:

• In-browser client: Browser-based IDE that is compatible with most modern web and mobile browsers. This is the default development tool of the Telerik Platform.
• Universal desktop client: A lightweight IDE available for Windows and OS X.
• Classic Windows client: A lightweight IDE for Windows.
• Extension for Visual Studio: Extension for the popular Microsoft IDE.
• Command-line interface: A command-line interface for Windows, OS X and Linux, delivered as an npm package.
• Package for Sublime Text: A Sublime Text package for Windows, OS X and Linux, delivered via Package Control.

This means that you can use the extension for Visual Studio and the package for Sublime Text with any Telerik Platform subscription, including the Professional level.

That´s it I only would like to know if with the professional  or even the developer version I could use Visual Studio.

Hello Marcus,

You can use the extension for Visual Studio both with the developer and the professional subscriptions. If you have to choose between the two subscriptions, I would recommend that you consider the services your app would need to utilize. For instance:

• how would you have to distribute your app - if you only have a Windows environment, the direct upload to the iOS AppStore available with the Telerik Platform Professional subscription might be a must
• would you need to use a private app store or the Telerik Platform distribution features
• would you need social app providers
