I'm using both the BusyIndicator and the GridView's busy indicator. And the look is quite a bit different.
Do you have an example of changing the styling of the busy indicator to match the GridView's so they're similar?

Hello Michael,
Thank you for contacting us.
We do not have an example how to particularly match the style of the BusyIndicator to the GridView. However, you can refer to these help articles in which is explained how to style the BusyIndicator:
http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radbusyindicator-styles-and-templates-overview.html
Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you have further questions.
All the best,
