Hello,

I've a problem where the TestStudio "record" can't handle the login screen.
It's a WPF application, and when i press the Record | Launch new Recording Application.
1. The login screen shows.
2. I fill in the username / password
3. Click the Login button, but here is where i get stuck.
It's dosn't continue, now it won't login to the program. It seems like TestStudio is locking the window somehow.

If i run it manually it works perfectly, i type in the username/password and then press login, after a little while my application starts.
Same path to the exe file is started in both cases.

Any suggestions how i can solve it?

Hi Jonas,

I'm sorry you are running into this problem. Since we've never seen this strange behavior before, it's hard to tell what is wrong. The best and fastest way for us to troubleshoot is to test locally. Would it be possible for you to send us your app? If it's not possible to share your full WPF app, then perhaps your developers can create a small demo that exhibits the same behavior. You can create a support ticket for that, which is confidential, unlike this forum thread.

Best wishes,

Hello,

I've found a sollution to the issue.
It was only during the recording i got stuck, so i recorded a scenario where i type in the password and username than make a coded step to wait for the application mainwindow. After this i just put a manual step, and aborted the run so i could continue to record in the application.

Problem solved.
