[Solved] Stripping of table elements

Using the RAD Editor as a replacement for the listing rich text editor, I m finding that support for tables is very limited. Is there anyway I can stop sharepoint for stripping my tables and get the editor back to something reflecting it's full functionality?


There are probably more features in the html control set that are crippled. Is there any description available as to what 'rich text' means, that is what it allows and doesn't allow?

Hi John,

Unfortunately we are not currently aware of how to disable the stripping done by SharePoint.

We agree this reduces the capabilities of our component and we continue to research on how to avoid that obstacle.

The list of known restrictions can be viewed online here . As you mentioned, the list is growing with more things that get stripped.
