Is there a trick to getting stories onto the dashboard?

Also, how can I delete a project?

I've made a couple of dummy projects trying to get TFS to synce and I am very interested in deleting the test projects.

Hi Joe & Steve,

Currently there is no way to delete a project through the TeamPulse UI. This is a backlog item that we will be addressing in a future release.

As for the secret to getting stories to appear on the dashboard, the key is understanding that the dashboard is a window into the current iteration. So in order for stories to be included in the data collected, they must be assigned to an iteration that has start/end dates overlapping the current date.

All the best,

I manually deleted the projects from the database (not recommended, do so at your own risk!) and I am looking forward to having a built-in in delete function.

How about adding the ability to backup all projects to a zipped file for safe keeping form the web management interface?

Thanks,
Joe

You know what I want?  A "back" and\or "save" button...so I know that my changes have taken effect...even if it's just cosmetic :)

Hi Steve,

Adding a 'Save' button would simply be cosmetic. TeamPulse will save automatically after every change. However, sometimes it will wait until a Save in Progress completes before firing another Save.

We have a feature in our backlog to implement a Save notifier so that the user can be aware of when a Save is in progress and when the last Save took place. Do you think that be a good alternative to a Save button?

As for a back button, you can use the one in your browser to aid in navigating.

Kind regards,
Ryan

Yeah I realize the cosmeticness of it, but when you're typing into a RadEditor, there's zero feedback that what's going in is changed since you cant seem to get the cursor off the control (does that make sense?)

Hello Steve,

Yes that does make sense, we do understand that it is a little unnerving at times not necessarily knowing when information is being saved. As Ryan mentioned, we are looking at ways of visually notifying that a save is occuring, which we feel would alleviate these concerns. Do you agree that this may provide you the feedback that you are looking for?

Whatever works :)

GoogleDocs does that, never had an issue there (although they also have a save and close link for paranoid people)
