store multiple grid layouts

I would like to save many gridview layouts.
Example: I click on the button, I can save the my created gridview layout with a name (in a database?). the gridview layout will be added to a list of gridview layout. The user can choose from these gridview settings list that i wantt to apply to the gridview.

Any ideas (sample) how I can do that?
