    Hello,

I saw in the documentation that OpenAccess supports 6 Databases.

Is it possible to work without database on XML or Files?

    Thank you

I just add something to the question.

If it's not possible to use xml, is their a solution to use an embeded database?
Is firebird a solution for that?

    Thank you

    Hello Macaroni,
We support Firebird database, you can use it in your solution. Also we plan to support SQLIte as well.
Currently the product is targeted at mapping relational databases, not directly XML/text files. We dont have such plans for our roadmap either.

    Thank you for the answer.

Are you supporting "sql compact 3.5 sp1" I haven't seen it listed but as it's like sql server I guess yes?

    Thanks.

    Hello Macaroni,

SQL CE is scheduled to be supported later in the year.

Please have a look to our Database Support Outlook on our Roadmap for further information.
