Storage as XML?

I saw in the documentation that OpenAccess supports 6 Databases.

Is it possible to work without database on XML or Files?

If it's not possible to use xml, is their a solution to use an embeded database?
Is firebird a solution for that?

Hello Macaroni,
We support Firebird database, you can use it in your solution. Also we plan to support SQLIte as well.
Currently the product is targeted at mapping relational databases, not directly XML/text files. We dont have such plans for our roadmap either.

Are you supporting "sql compact 3.5 sp1" I haven't seen it listed but as it's like sql server I guess yes?
