I know that Visual Studio 2010 has dropped support for SQL 2000. Seeing the Open Access has added support for SQL2000 I thought that I might be able to get this to work but have been unsuccessful.

Is it possible to use Open Access  with SQL 2000 in VS 2010?

Hi Quentin Blacklock,

Yes it is possible to use OpenAccess with Sql2000 in Vs 2010. You would need to specify the connection string manually since the 'Add New Connection' dialog does not support adding connection strings for Sql2000.
Once the connection string is specified you can use OpenAccess similar to any other backend.

Do get back in case you need further assistance.

All the best,

Q1’11 SP1 of Telerik OpenAccess is available for download; also available is the Q2'11 Roadmap for Telerik OpenAccess ORM.
