Hi

There was an example I can't seem to locate (Did I imagine it?).  The example is a hiarchy that when the expansion icon is pressed a spinning circular arrow appears until the data is loaded.  Anyone know it's whereabouts?

Thanks
Rich

Hi Richard Harrigan,

Maybe you have in mind this example?

Hi,

That's not it.  The spinning circular arrow was very small and appeared by the expansion icon. It was kind of like the cursor was changed temporarily but it was animated i.e. spinnning.

Hi,

Since I must have seen it somewhere else can you tell me how I would show a small animated icon (i.e. circular arrow) next to the expansion icon when the expansion icon is pressed (or maybe it should temporarily replace the expansion icon?).  I want the image to spin until I get results back from the web service.  It's purpose is a visual busy indicator to the user. I could use the normal busy indicator but I want something more subtle than that.

Thanks

Hello Richard Harrigan,

Would you please confirm that the example you are seeking for is related to RadGridView? The only example I have found that somehow matches your description is for our RadTreeView. You may see it here.

That's it!  Can this also be done with the grid?

Thanks

Hello Richard Harrigan,

Well, it should be possible. Try styling the GridViewToggleButtons that expand your RadGridView's rows in the same way, as it is described in this example.
