I am currently working for an Oil & Gas company that works with so called ‘Gas Days’..

These gas days have a span of 5:00 AM (UTC) till 5:00 AM (UTC) they next day.

I am currently using the RadTimeBar as a means to select a day or days period.

The problem is however that in default mode the selection is free-format, which is not usable while on the other side the ‘snaptointerval’ only works on the interval.

Meaning if I select a day I get the day from 12:00 AM till 12:00 AM.

So my question is : does anybody know how can I control the RadTimeBar in such a way that the snap is set on 5:00 AM till 5:00 AM ?

Regards,

TB

Hello,

I already answered your question in the support ticket that you opened, but I will post the information here as well, so that it is available to everyone.

Thank you for contacting us. Your question is very interesting and I am afraid I have no straightforward answer. Basically, in case I understand you correctly, you want to change the beginning of the day from the standard 12AM, to a custom 5AM, but keep the span of the day to 24 hours. Until now, we have had one such request and it was for the year interval, as the beginning/end of the fiscal year is different from those of the calendar year. The feature request is logged in our PIS system, but I cannot commit to a specific timeframe for its implementation.

For the time being, the only way to achieve the described result, is to modify the source code and use a custom DLL. Please note, however, that we do not support custom modifications of the source code.

Kind regards,
