I note that when the right or left horizontal scroll buttons (at the left and right of the horizontal scroll bar), are clicked, the rate of scroll is very slow. Is it possible to increase the scroll rate?
To improve performance of the grid in general, what client hardware improvements would you think will make the bigest difference i.e. Graphics, CPU or memory?

Hello Vicky Breedyk,
I'm not sure that we have modified the RepeatButton Interval default value but I'll check that.
As for the performance improvements we are work hard to make the grid as fast as possible and with small memory footprint. With some of the next releases we will improve RadGridView virtualization and we will add horizontal virtualization as well (column virtualization).
Other feature that we will introduce is container reuse. This will further improve performance and memory pressure.
For now the recommended way is to use small data sets and manually get next portion of data.
In my opinion the biggest improvement (from client hardware) will come from more memory.
