Is there going to be a release of the charting controls on Silverlight? These are really great looking controls and they are available for all other platforms. I was very disappointed to tell my boss that we could not do this functionality in Silverlight. This could be a huge ding in the telerik armor.

Hi lkeel,
Good news! You can expect a silverlight version of RadChart for Q1 2009. It is well ahead in development and will come as part of the suite released by the end of February. It will have all 2D functionality from its WPF counterpart.

That is absolutely wonderful news. I can't wait to see it!!! I am very greatful to be getting some charts now, but of course I have a couple of questions. Will there be a pre-release? Is there timeline for release of any 3D charts?

Hello lkeel,
There will be no betas prior the Q1 release. Also, it will only feature 2D charts for now. There are no plans set yet for what will happen after Q1 so I can't really comment on when that's going to happen.
