Yesterday, as I was listing to the interview with ScottGu on DevConnection, they asked him how they managed to get more performance with SL4. He said as of SL4, when we are installing out libraries, we also do a Pre JIT in order to get the optimum Binary code for that setup. This has raised an important question in my mind.
For those of us who do not use MS controls and mainly use Telerik controls and library, is there a plan for Telerik to do the same thing with their installation in order to speed up up the process? It seems like a great solution that MS has found and I'm wondering if you guys will take advantage of this solution?

Hello Ben,
I don't think this is possible for control vendors. We do not install our controls - they get embedded into the XAP file. So if we JIT them on the developer machine they will work only on customers with the same platform.
Microsoft can do it because you have to install the framework.
