Hello,

I am trying to install Telerik Trainer on my development machine which does not connect to the internet.  One of the first things it tried to do was download WindowsInstaller (which failed).  So, I downloaded it and copied it to my development machine and installed it.  I then tried installing the Telerik Trainer again but, its still trying to download the WindowsInstaller.  How can I get past that?

Thanks,
Susan

Hi Susan,

The installer automatically downloads the prerequisites including the Windows Installer and later on the .NET Framwork 3.5 it not present. If it is doing that even though you already have them downloaded, is it possible you have the wrong version of the Windows Installer?

What OS, Service Pack, and .NET Framework do you have on that machine?

Thanks

John
