When I record steps from secure web site (https) and after converting to coded steps, recorded elements show red in code and could not be resolved.

Pages.

SomeSecureWebSite.GoButtonImage.Click(false);

Configuration:
Windows 7
Visual Studio 2010
IE 8
WebUI Test Studio - Developers Edition (trial) 2010.2.830.0

Is this a conflict with resharper or visual studio? Code does compile, however.
Thanks.

Hello Petar,

I am unable to reproduce any problems using a sample HTTPS website. There are no known issues with ReSharper.

Do you remember what steps you performed that created the problem? At what point did you convert the steps to code... Immediately after recording or after you closed and reopened the test? You said "Code does compile" but I admit I am confused how can the code compile with an unresolved name like that?

Would it be possible for you to send it your entire test project for analysis? I recommend opening a new private support ticket first rather than attaching it to this public forum post.

Hi Cody,

Thanks for your follow up call. I wanted to update this issue by mentioning that the reason for objects showing in red was due to resharper not being able to read/evaluate them.

Once resharper was uninstalled - everything looked normal.

Otherwise code was compiling initially so the behavior was benign.

Thanks again.

Hi Petar,

I appreciate the follow up. I'm creating a KB article with this information for future reference. That way our other customers who run into this have a quick and easy answer.

I am closing this ticket.

Best wishes,
