Don't seem to be able to crack this one
Have a grid grouped by "Type" and then "Name"....I'd like to style each of these group headers slightly differently (apply a gradient, change foreground colour an add a link to headers at the Name level...
Any ideas as to how to go about doing this? Seems to be impossible at this stage (but then I can't find how to style ANY group headers!)

Hello Richard Grimmer,
What you will need to do is edit the template of the GroupRow (you can easily get the template using Blend). Once you extract it you can bing the backgrounds of the elements you need to the Group.HasSubgroups property and apply a converter which holds your custom colors and gradients.
Attached I am sending you a sample which demos just that.
I am most hopeful that this is what you were looking for.

Many thanks for the reply and demo - it seems that with a little hacking around, I shold be able to get what I need out of it...
