This question is technically not about radcontrols.

I don't have any experience of Silverlight.  I open up the example project to take a look how that loading splash screen is done.

I noticed that everything is drawn as vector graphic (as in Path).  That includes the word "Silverlight" in the background and the Telerik logo and it is plotted in a series of coordination.  I looked at the MSDN page that described the path data so now I have a rough idea of how it works.

My question is, does the designer has to do this manually (i.e. type in the coordinates one by one), or there are some tools that can let me draw something graphically, then it output a set of coordiates that I can just copy and paste?

Hi Edward,

There is no need to code paths manually. There are a number of tools out there which can create those paths for you. The best way to do this is by using Microsoft's Expression Designer and/or Blend. There is a 60-day free trial which will give you enough time to familiarize yourself with how the platform and the controls it uses work.

I hope this helps.
