Hey, I am wondering when will chart for silverlight come out, there isn't really a good charting program out there for silverlight yet, chartfx can't even load a direct chart from silverlight... I am trying to load real time charts and I am just wondering if thats on telerik's schedule to release.

Hello Peter,
Our current estimates are that the Silverlight version of RadChart should be available for Q1 2009 release around March. As for real-time data scenarios -- thisi is definitely in our todo list and we will look into it but we are uncertain whether we will be able to optimize the control for such needs for the initial release.

I can already do real time data through web service, and there are a lot of examples online.... I kinda just need the chart control. Is Telerik going to offer build in trendlines as well as some sort of SliderControls like google finiance scroller on the bottom of the graph example on Q1 release? And is there any date on when Q1 beta is gona come out?

+1000 on the Google Finance Scroller for the Chart.
It would be a very very big plus if you could make a sample on how to make the communication between the slider and the upcoming chart.

We will not be able to include trend lines / financial scroll functionality for the Q1 version of the Silverlight control -- nevertheless we will forward your feedback to our developers for future consideration.
At this time we cannot commit a specific timeframe when beta version will be available but we will do our best to have some bits ready for preview around February.
