Hello,
In a SL5  + OOB scenario,
Is it possible that expanded menu subitems consider that the display area is not only the out of browser window, but all desktop screen?

Hello Paulo,

I am afraid that this is not possible with RadMenu - we do not have access to the desktop screen resolution, that's why we cannot make the boundary detection of the menu to use the whole desktop. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Paulo,

I am sorry I didn't explain clearly enough.

In the control template of RadMenuItems we use Popup control and this Popup cannot leave the Window that is hosting it. So even if we use P/Inkove to get the Desktop dimensions we cannot move the popup outside its hosting Window.

All the best,

Hi Yana,
Ok, so is it possible to use a system window  instead of a popup window?

Hello Paulo,

I am afraid that the submenu is designed to be a popup and we cannot introduce such a change.

Hello Yana,
It's a shame, such kind of details are the reason why Silverlight can deliver further functionalities that html5 can't.
Maybe you can think In a new RadDesktopMenu user control.
