The selected date isn't highlighted when in "Month" DateSelectionMode on the initial load. Also, selecting the currently selected month seems to do nothing until another month is selected. At that point, the calendar highlights the selected month.

I am glad to update your telerik points for reporting this abnormal behavior of our RadCalendar control. We will investigate the cause for this issue and we will fix it in one of our future releases.
