after a successful image upload and returning the new image id, i want to show a thumbnail image in the FileList.
i am currently using jquery to fiddle around with the html, but is there a [Stable] way to interact with the FileList using Client API.

We don't provide any specific APIs for manipulating the file list. Adding elements should be fine as long as the original elements remain in place.
