Show/Hide Playlist

This may be a stupid question but is there a way to progammatically Show and Hide the Playlist?

Hello Robert,

Thanks for your interest in our Silverlight controls.

Currently, the media player control does not provide a way to programmatically show/hide the playlist. This can only be done by clicking the Playlist button. However, we will make sure that this functionality is included in the next release of the controls, so stay tuned for updates.

Happy New Year to everyone,

 

I have the latest version (2008.3 1217) of RadControl for SL2 and I still do not see a way a to programmatically Show and Hide the Playlist. Am I missing it somewhere in API documentation? For us, this a showstopper issue. We need to initialize the player in the playlist mode and return to playlist after the media item finished. When can we expect the updated version? Thank you in advance for prompt response.

Hi Jan,

We added an IsPlaylistVisible property to RadMediaPlayer which allows you to programmatically show/hide the playlist. I am attaching an updated build of the controls. Let me know if this solves your issue.
