[Solved] Seperate Insert Button for Grid

What I would like to do is have a button (not on the toolbar) that could be used to trigger the Insert command (or add new row) on the grid.

Is this possible, or will I have to extend the functionality of the grid to do this?

Hi Lee Vaughn,

You may use addRow method to show the grid's insert item.

$("#Grid").data("tGrid").addRow();

Thanks! That was the answer i was looking for. It looks like, using that, I can access all the internal methods of the grid too... wonderful!
