[Solved] SelectedItem vs. CurrentItem

hello,
what is the purpose of having separate SelectedItem and CurrentItem properties, i.e. what is CurrentItem used for?
+ is there a plan to include synchronisation of these properties in a future release?

Hi Andreas Kägi,

Some data sources like CollectionView have a property called CurrentItem and the current item of RadGridView corresponds to this current item. The current item also indicates which item the user can interact with - for example engage edit mode.

We have plans to introduce a property which will allow you to sync the current and the selected items. Most probably it will appear in our latest internal build in about  two weeks.
