SegmentBackgroundColor not working

I'm setting SegmentBackgroundColor to orange but the background is grey. Is this broken?

This is on iOS 13 using 2020.1.114.1.

Hi Ian,

I have tested the scenario on my side but I cannot reproduce the issue with the SegmentedControl background color - refer to the attached image. I have tested on iOS 13.3 with the latest version of Telerik UI for Xamarin.

Next steps:

Could you please open a support ticket and attach a sample repro project. In this way I could research the case further.

Is that the correct red?

I can change the background colour but it seems darker than it should be.

Setting the surrounding view to the same colour reveals the contrast.

Hi Ian,

The reason behind this behavior comes from the native iOS segmented control. This is how the native control behaves for this version of the iOS.
