Hello,
during testing I've noticed that the replace result msg box can be a bit misleading.

I've also tested it with your online editor:
http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#RichTextBox/TelerikEditor

You can reproduce it as follows:
1. Enter the demo (link above)
2. Click Search/Replace
3. Change Text to find to: "RadRichTextBox for Silverlight/WPF"
4. Change Replace with to: "mytest"
5. Click Replace
--> text for replacing gets highlighted
6. Click Replace again
--> text will be changed
==> BUT message dialog says:

I think the text of the key 'Documents_FindReplaceDialog_FinishedSearching' (= "Finished searching the document.") should be displayed?!

Best regards,
Bernhard

Hello Bernhard,

Thank you for your feedback.

We have reviewed several times the messages shown when using find/replace functionalities and we have come to the current implementation based on the different cases supported by other word processors such as MS Word. However, if this message's content is not the most appropriate from your perspective, you could easily change it by configuring the string of the Documents_FindReplaceDialog_SearchedTextNotFound key. Please, refer to this help article showing an example how this could be achieved through custom localization manager.

I hope this information is helpful. Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Vasil

Hello Vasil,

thanks for the info.
Ok, I will change the Documents_FindReplaceDialog_SearchedTextNotFound text.

Just for info:
The default behaviour in Word is to display a message that says "search completed".

BR,
Bernhard
