Hi,

I've installed all of the above - but having to mix 1125 en 1306 doesn't work... The DSW has a life on its own - one day he doesn't work, the other day it miraculously produces something...

To me, it really feels as if OpenAccess is still a child going through his puberty... As a product, but also, the efforts from Telerik put into it...

Compared to the other products of Telerik (controls and SiteFinity) - far less mature - no clear communication with regards to roadmapping... Changing directions all of a sudden during may / june 2010, without telling people for months, without explicitly warning us - it really caused me headaches....

I really hope I am not black listed now, after writing this in honesty...

Sincerely,

Lars

Hi Lars,

We are sorry for the inconvenience that our product has caused, however let me clarify a bit. The DSW was developer as a third party extension for our product and as such has not had the needed quality, we are determined to change this and as a matter of fact have already re-written the core functionality in house and somewhere between Q1 and Q2 this year we will release a new and retouched and way more stable version of the DSW.

As to the stability of the product, the core functionality has got pretty stable over the years (it is ten years old) and basically we have been working on improving the user interface. You might remember the old wizards approach, we felt their lifespan has already finished and decided to introduce new ways of working with the OpenAccess. This has been a long ride for us and in the past year we feel we have learned a lot about our customer's need. For the past quarter and I suppose the next our main focus is to stabilize the product and further polish it, this of course is only possible because of the invaluable feedback we have received by customers such as yourself.

And on the contrary we highly appreciate your input.

I hope this answers your question.

Kind regards,
Serge
