I'm able to build the examples solution(sl4 q2 2010) but I can't run it nor do I see the MyAlbums project. I was hoping to see how it was all put together. Is it designed to be ran locally?

Hi Gary Blakely,
The MyAlbums project is not a part from the examples demo project. Can you share some info with the exception or error that you are getting when app is started.
