Dear support,
how can we get row index of RadGridView from mouse position? There is GetPosition method in MouseMove event, but i guess there is another way.

Hi David ,
Can you please give us more details on the exact scenario you are trying to achieve.
When do you need to have the index? - on mouse over, on mouse click etc. ? Also what index do you need - do you need the index of the visible row , or the original data source index. If you give me some more details on the final goal I will gladly provide you with a working sample.

thank you for your quick answer.
Imagine grid filled with records about customers. Each customer has phone field, email field, name field etc.
So I need to display custom tooltip when mouse cursor reaches a cell in grid. The tooltip looks like business card, so I need to bind dynamically data from a record which is selected (not clicked).
I need to get somehow row index on mouse over and fill TexBlock elements with appropriate data of a customer.

Hello David ,
Please have a look at the attached sample.
It demonstrates a way to obtain a row context sensitive tooltip.
To visually style the appearance of the tooltip , please modify the PersonVCard.xaml.
The logic that attaches the tooltip to a row resides in the RowLoaded event handler of the RadGridView.
In case you find difficulties adapting this to your scenario or you need furhter assistance, just let me know.
