I've seen in another forum post that the only response to a row header or frozen column is to put in a request via UserVoice. Has anyone found an acceptable solution? I hate to look to other control vendors for this...it seems like such a standard ask for a Data Grid. Am I missing something?

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately RadDataGrid does not provide functionality for freezing columns or row headers at this moment, but the control is still in beta version and we plan to expand it. Currently we cannot provide a specific time frame for availability of the functionality you have requested, but you can follow our roadmap for updates about our future planning.

Also, I have logged your suggestions to our ideas & feedback portal where you and other customers can vote for them:

Thank you for your valuable feedback and don't hesitate to contact us again if you have any other questions/ideas.

Hello Yuri,

Thank you for using RadControls for Windows 8!

Since we are not ready with the planning for the next version of the controls, we can not tell for sure if these features will be available soon. We highly appreciate the feedback from our customers and our future planning is consistent with their needs.

Please, continue to follow our roadmap for updates and do not hesitate to contact us should you have any other questions or ideas.
