Hi Emanuele,

The features we are going to implement will be completely driven by you - the community. What are the features you want to see implemented in the Icenium platform?

I'm a telerik fan and I'm sure that icenium will be a good product, but I need to understand how many months will need to get the first release.

I need to build a new mobile app with private beta milestone in september and launch in Q2-2013. My app need Cordova and Ios/Android.

Features suggested:

1) Phonegapp update to 1.8
2) Application sign with customer certificate (I think vs addin is mandatory to not trasmit customers private key, otherwise a simple "local" features in graphite to sign the app)
3) License plan with source code for customer that need maximum customization
4) Visual studio plugin to automate build process in large environment
5) Device Emulator: camera, accelerometer, notifications, contacts, connections

Any plans on getting Windows (Phone and/or Win 8) into the mix as well? Both support jQuery

I would also like to see some general type of roadmap.  Stuff like:

  • Platform app store deployment (Apple, Google Play, Microsoft)
  • Windows Phone and table support
  • What will be cost of the tools and service

Hi Sridhar,

Yes, we are monitoring Windows phone/Win8 closely and it is on our backlog. With iOS and Android support we cover > 80% of the market today. Our investments are largely driven by customer demand and as soon as we see demand we'll adjust priorities accordingly.

Clemri

Hi Chris,

Yes, publishing to app stores is pretty high on our list. Windows phone a little lower in priority today but we are monitoring it closely. As far as price, we are working on that but not far enough developed to talk about it yet but it will most probably be subscription based.

Regards,
Clemri
