I know this isn't where this ought to go, but as I'm only a silverlight control customer, I hope it can start here and ya'll can move it where it belongs.
When you send an email notification of an update to a post, can you include a hyper link to the forum/post?

Hi Cuthahotha,
I checked this by creating a test trial account and then posting a forum post. I received a link to the forum thread at the top most part of my e-mail form. Does this link lack your mail message's content?
