Hi ,
I have downloaded and installed the latest Telerik version for reports. I'm using SL4 and VS2010.
I have created a report in my SL4 .WEB project and now I'm trying to display my report in my xaml Page.
So I have created a childwindow and try to drag n drop the reportviewer control in my xaml.
But I;m getting the below error.
Error   26   [Parser_SetValue_Exception]
Arguments: System.Windows.FrameworkElement.Style
Debugging resource strings are unavailable. Often the key and arguments provide sufficient information to diagnose the problem. See http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=106663&Version=4.0.50917.0&File=System.Windows.dll&Key=Parser_SetValue_Exception [Line: 329 Position: 74]

Although my report is running in design time and I am able to view data I cannot make it work in my Silverlight APp. I have downloaded the pdf manual but it doesn't explain how I will create a report and put it in my Silverlight App.
Also when I run my app I can see that the ReportViewer control is returning an internal error.
FYI the examples that are installed with the installation of the telerik reporting package are not working .
Can anyone help me on this ?
Could you please post a SL4 App with just one report as an example so I can take a look at it ?

thank you

Hello Dimitris,

Can you let us know what is the problem with the Silverlight app from the examples? Do you receive an error and what is it?
You can find detailed information on how to add the Silverlight viewer and assign report to it from our documentation:
Additionally, we have a video that guides you trough the creation of a sample Silverlight app to view our reports: Getting Started with the Silverlight Report Viewer for Telerik Reporting.

Either way, I've attached a sample project using Telerik Reporting targeting Silverlight 4.

Best wishes,
Steve
