Hello Marcus,
Recently we have identified some issues with hiding the vertical grid lines. As we speak we are working on a solution which we are hoping to deliver for 2009.Q2.
I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
Best wishes,

What about the Horizontal grid lines? How do you get rid of those?

Hello Jack,
We are planning of introducing a property which will let you specify the grid lines you would like to see: None, Horizontal, Vertical and Both. This should allow you to toy with the grid lines anyway you like.

There is such property - it is called GridLinesVisibility and you can use it to controls the visibility of both the vertical and the horizontal grid lines.
