Hi,
Is there a way to remove the leading empty space on a row when the grid is in grouping mode? The look I'm after is that even when grouped, all rows look like when the grid is not grouped, plus there are the group headers which have their default look.

Hi Adrian,
For that purpose you should edit the template of the GridViewRow,within its controltemplate you should find the IndentPresenter and set its Visibility to Collapsed,you can also modfiy the different parts of that row in the way you need.I am sending you a sample project that demonstrates this approach.
To the second part of your question-did you mean that you need to restyle the GridViewGroupRow or maybe I missed something?

Hi Vanya,
Your solution is pretty cool and easy to do and very close to what I want. There is just one more small thing: even in your example you can see if you expand the row that there is a piece of the row border missing in the top left area of the row...where the indent presenter was. Do you know how to fix this also? Then it's perfect :)

This raw border is actually GridView's FrozenColumnSplitter which you have to restyle too to achieve this result,I have changed a little bit and the RowIndicator to see the how it changes but actually you do not have to restyle it if you do not need .

Hi Adrian,
Please accept my apology for the omission, but in this way you will have to restyle the whole GroupRow and you have to find that border within GroupBorder's ControlTemplate to achieve this look.
