Our git repositories are not public. They require a key or user/pass to clone/push/pull. Can Icenium support git repositories that require authentication? If so, how?

Hi Ned,
We do support most of the popular git providers and there is no problem to work with private repositories as well. You just need to connect to your remote repository using the Version control menu -> Configure Remote Repository.
Also in our upcoming release working with GitHub will improve a bit for Configuring Remote Repositories so stay tuned.

Ok, so my question was about authenticaton. Do you support any type of authentication for remote repositories. Many people use gitolite which requires pub key based auth.

Hello Ned,
The only requirement for Icenium is that it should be a git repository and have public http or https endpoint. This way our services can access and clone the repository for you. Cloning through ssh and cloning from private network through VPN are not supported scenarios at the moment.

Steve
