Dear Team,

Good morning,

I tried to capture popup dialogues appear in my application by using webuii tool, but several issues occurred by the time of recording.

1. The tool asking for to automate the popup, is there any option to check before to avoid such type of reminders

2. I clicked on “Yes” option for further proceeding, but the popup appeared like application login page instead of relevant popup

3. The results appeared in the previous home page got refreshed automatically.

Requesting to give proper solutions and suggestions for this issue…

Hi sailaja,

Thanks for the post and the screenshots.

Please try recording the scenario using the remote IE recording window as described in this video.

So the part of the scenario where the popup is launched, please record this in the IE recorder, then the popup sequence should be the same as in the Visual Studio recording window.

Also, there is currently not an option to set a default action for the WebUI dialog window that appears when you lauch a popup. I'll lof a feature request for this though, thanks for the feedback.

Hi Team,
I tried the steps you advised me earlier.
1. When i tried to capture the required popup step by using external window recorder, again it went to login page
2. I again re entered all the steps, but while capturing the scenario several elements are missing in external browser (for more info., pls check the screenshot). Not only this elements i find there several elements are missing while capturing
Please help me to reslove this issue

Hi again sailaja,

So just to confirm, is the popup still asking for a login?

And I'm not sure what you mean by elements on the popup page are missing. Is this refering to when the popup window is refreshing the page and not persisting the data?

This may require us to look at the page on this end. Can you grant us temporary access to your site? Or can we setup a Live Meeting so we can work on this that way?
