I'm running JustCode Q2 2010 SP1 (2010.2.826.2) and I find that on one* of my dev machines (VS2010 Ult, Win7 Ult x64), sometimes the Refactor options are greyed out. The single most useful feature in JustCode for me is Ctrl-Shift-U (Organize and add missing usings...) and I had thought it was a problem with this specific feature, but I've just noticed that all Just Refactor options are unavailable.
I have had this experience when creating a new file with VS but outside a project and forgetting to add it to the project (when it is quite understandable that Refactorings should be unavailable), but I'm staring at a valid .cs file now that is in the project but all the Right-Click Just Refactor options are greyed out. I thought maybe Refresh Code Analysis might help, but it doesn't make any difference.
Have other people seen this; perhaps someone can tell me what I might be doing wrong, or if it is a known issue.

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience. Could you open up a support ticket and send over JustCode's log files from the machines you are encountering this issue. The log files are located in your AppData\Local\JustCode\Logs folder.
Also can you tell us whether this happens consistently with any project you open (even a simple console app) or it is particular to only some specific project you are working on?

Posted on 1 day ago Hi Garry, Thanks for the prompt response. I looked at the projects you sent and it seems that the InstallShield project is the one causing the problems. We had this issue in the past and had it fixed several months ago. In the latest releases we did some major changes in order to optimize initial loading performance and it regressed then. We have already fixed it in our codebase. Next week we plan to release an internal build that you will be able to download. Until then you can temporarily unload the InstallShield project and restart VS. This way the project won't be loaded and JustCode should work correctly. I've granted you some Telerik points for the time and efforts you spent to help us. Thanks again for the assistance and don't hesitate to contact us again if you have some more questions or problems. Garry - many thanks - I eventually submitted a ticket too - I'm waiting for feedback.
I'm keen to see whether their changes fix the issue I was seeing, but unfortunately I was in the middle of an eval and the eval just expired. I'm hoping someone is going to grant me an extension - if the problem appears to have gone away, then I'm happy to put down my money :-).

I have no doubt that Telerik will renew your Eval time. Also just to vouch for them, in case you've never used their products before, they are a top notch company when it comes to support and even just plain ol' fairness. They have worked on tickets of mine that many other companies would have told me that it was outside their scope of support.
Also I've been using JustCode since its release and this is really the first issue I've seen with it. In other words give them a few days, possibly a week and I am more than confident they will have everything running smooth once again.
