Hello Mai,

Thank you for taking the time to evaluate WebUI Test Studio. If I understand your question correctly, the answer is Yes, WebUI Test Studio works by recording all the mouse clicks and and keyboard actions that are performed in your Silverlight application. Those recorded actions are then played back when a test executes. You add the verification steps that are appropriate for your testing requirements. Such as whether or not some specific test appears at a specific location, or an element is/is not visible, or the color of some element, or the number of rows in a data grid, the number of columns, the data within the data grid, etc.

Have you had a chance yet to play with WebUI Test Studio yet? Give it a try and let us know any problems you run into while recording and creating your test scripts.

Kind regards,
Cody
