Hello,
When I set a Telerik theme on my System.Windows.Controls.Textbox (by setting the telerik:StyleManager.Theme attached property), the user can't see when a textbox is readonly. A normal textbox and a readonly textbox have the same appareance.
What I'm doing wrong ?

Hello Kakone,
As I am not quite sure what is your exact requirement, I have prepared a sample example illustrating a couple of possible settings for a TextBox.
You may check the attached file and let me know how it corresponds to your scenario.

Hi,
I ran your sample, you can see the result in attached file (I tried with all themes - Office Black, Office Blue, Windows 7, ...) : the 3rd and 4th Textboxes are readonly, it's very difficult to see it, isn't it ?
With Telerik controls, there is no problem, the background is gray for readonly controls, but with the classic Textbox, I get this result.
(I use the lastest version - 2010.2 924)

Hello Stephane,
It seems that this is specific for TextBox control in our themes.
Having in mind your case we will work to change this behavior in the future.
For the time being, I would suggest you to change it depending on your custom requirements.

Is "in the future" means in the next Q3 release ?

Unfortunately changes reflecting in TextBox when IsReadOnly property is set to True are not available yet. It will be implemented after Q3 release. I will leave the support ticket open and let you know when it is ready.
