Please review the ReadMe.html for the Windows XP style. It is describing how to install the Rad Calendar skin.

Also, the css file does not follow the description found here:

http://www.telerik.com/help/radgrid/v4_Net2/?grdCreatingNewSkins.html

to create the skin.

That might be why I can't get it working...?

EDIT:  Yes, it was the reason.  The skin I had downloaded was for version 3.52.

Hello Jonathan,

Are you sure about the ReadMe.html in the archive for the r.a.d.grid 3.52 WindowsXP skin and skinning of r.a.d.calendar? I've just downloaded it, and everything seems to be the way it is supposed to be.

With the latest version of r.a.d.grid, we introduced a new and much easier way of skinning, so please, refer to our skinning tutorial at http://www.telerik.com/documents/SkinningTutorial.pdf for basic concepts and how-to's.

For now, only one skin for r.a.d.grid 4, Web 2.0, is available for download at http://www.telerik.com/skins/, but in the near future, the other skins will also be uploaded there. Although my point is that you may refer to it or create a brand new skin based on that particular one.

Hi Martin,

yep, the ReadMe.html is still wrong. Downloaded from
http://www.telerik.com/support/product-skins-downloads.aspx  - RadGrid v.3.52 - Windows XP style

Anyway, I was able to get the skin as all skins are part of the download of the control.  The only thing not there is the psd file, but I don't really need it if I have the images.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

We've just fixed a small typo in the ReadMe.html we have not noticed before. Thank you for reporting this, and sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yes, all skins are part of the r.a.d.controls distributions and are stored at ~RadControls/[ControlName]/Skins, but they do not contain the PhotoShop files. Selected skins, along with instructions and .psd's are available at http://www.telerik.com/skins.
If you need a .psd file that is not included there, please specify it and we will email it to you.

Greetings,
